Often requested and sure to sell out fast this trip will take us to Phoenix for a little shopping fun. We begin our morning with a continental breakfast served on the motorcoach.

Our approximately 5 hour stop today will be at the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall. With over 250 stores and many restaurants we know you will certainly find plenty of variety. Take time for a leisurely lunch or just keep shopping. Nordstrom, (today is their Half Yearly sale for women and kids) Dillards and Neiman Marcus, Coach and Pottery Barn are just a few of your choices. En route back to Tucson we stop at the Melting Pot for chocolate fondue treat!

Damn Yankees at Hale Theatre in Gilbert

We begin our day with a delicious lunch at Gertrude's at the Desert Botanical Gardens. Nestled amid the red buttes of Papago Park, the Desert Botanical Gardens hosts one of the world’s finest collections of desert plants.

Then it's on to Gilbert to take our reserved seats for the matinee performance of "Damn Yankees". Winner of seven Tony Awards, “Damn Yankees” is the musical retelling of the Faust tale. Set in the 1950's, when the New York Yankees dominated baseball, a middle-aged, long suffering fan of the Washington Senators trades his soul to the Devil. He becomes young Joey Hardy, the powerful hitter who can lead the Senators to victory. As the team gets closer though, Joey realizes how much he misses his wife and life. Arizona Diamondbacks vs San Francisco Giants at Chase Field

This state-of-the-art air-conditioned stadium is home to the major league baseball team the Arizona Diamondbacks. Come root for the home team, grab a hot dog, check out the ballpark and have a great time! With great players on their roster like Paul Goldschmidt, Ian Kennedy and Gerardo Parra who knows what will be in store for this season. A game against the Giants (2012 World Series Champs) always proves to be exciting. No parking hassles – just a good old-fashioned outing.
